"Health Benefit Coverage in NYS -The Post Healthcare Reform Market" to be Presented at October WNET Meeting
Since the passing and implementation of the Affordable Care Act, the health benefits market place in New York has changed. There are more options to purchase coverage, as well as several more rules. Brooks Wright, KBM Management, will help us sort out these options at the next Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training's (WNET) monthly breakfast meeting, Thursday, October 2nd, 8 a.m. at the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center in the Oswego County Industrial Park, Phoenix (exit 14, State Route 481). During this seminar, we will discuss the options for purchasing coverage, the Exchange, the plans available, a carrier update, the employer mandate and employer issues. There will be plenty of time for questions on all of these topics.
Brooks Wright joined KBM in 2009 to provide a dedicated sales and marketing capacity to the Brokerage and Consulting Departments. He has increased KBM's sales and marketing efforts and diversified the products and services they offer. Brooks' small business management experience coupled with his knowledge of self-funding health benefits for middle market employers has provided another excellent resource for KBM's growing client base. His experience allows him to take a comprehensive approach to employee benefits and the role they play in staff retention as well as business management.
Through networking, presentations and information sharing, WNET provides professional development and personal growth for women in business.
The cost for each seminar is $15. Each seminar includes a light breakfast.
WNET is supported locally by Operation Oswego County, SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center, NBT Bank, BeautiControl, By Detail and The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
