Join WNET "What Color is Your Business Plan or Planning Style?" at New Location in Oswego
The end of 2014 is fast approaching. The New Year is just around the corner. It is time to evaluate where your business has been and where you will be guiding it in the future. Join Bernadette Mroz as she leads an open, honest and informal conversation on the "color" of your business plan or planning style at the next Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training's (WNET) monthly breakfast meeting, Thursday, November 6th, 8 a.m. at Operation Oswego County, 44 West Bridge Street, Oswego. During this seminar, we will discuss how successful businesses "plan" for the next year, how they determine what changes to make and what measures they look at.
Bernadette has enjoyed a career as a Certified Business Advisor with the Small Business Development Center since 2000. She began working at the SBDC in Onondaga County working with displaced workers in a DOL program that allowed the unemployed to open a business while collecting unemployment insurance. When this program dissolved, she moved to the SBDC in Oswego under a one year grant program. Four years later, when the funding ran out, she worked part-time for the Syracuse University South Side Innovation Center as a business advisor. She concurrently worked for the SBDC in Onondaga! Bernadette became fulltime for the Onondaga SBDC and opened a satellite office in Liverpool. Unfortunately, due to illness, she left her official employment. Bernadette continues to participate in helping and advising small businesses as well as informally continuing her professional development in the small business world.
Through networking, presentations and information sharing, WNET provides professional development and personal growth for women in business.
The cost for each seminar is $15. Each seminar includes a light breakfast.
WNET is supported locally by Operation Oswego County, SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center, NBT Bank, BeautiControl, By Detail and The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
Pre-registration is required for each seminar, and may be made by calling Operation Oswego County, weekdays, at 315-343-1545, or via e-mail email@example.com. Payments may also be made via Credit Card on our website.
