"Maximzing Social Media as a Small Business Owner" to be Presented at November WNET Meeting
Do you have a great story to tell but don't know how to share it? Or who to share it with? Many small business owners and entrepreneurs are facing the same dilemma. Fortunately, you don't have to continue to be one of them.
Berenice Bonilla will share helpful tips for creatively and effectively sharing your company's story, products, events and more, at the next Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training's (WNET) monthly breakfast meeting, Thursday, November 5th, 8 a.m. at Operation Oswego County, 44 West Bridge Street, Oswego. Attend the session to learn helpful traditional and new media how-to's and receive a basic overview of ways to deliver a memorable message in today's diverse and rapidly evolving media landscape.
Berenice Bonilla is Owner and Director of The Bérica Agency, Syracuse's first Latina-owned communications and event design consultancy. Previously, Berenice managed communications for the Center for Engineering Leadership at Rice University, where she led the first national conference for engineering leadership. Before that, she directed the NCLR Líderes Initiative in Washington, D.C. and produced the annual Líderes Summit, the most intensive youth leadership conference in the country. In DC, she also served as Vice President of Marketing for the DC Chapter of NSHMBA and Interim Director of Communications for the NLEOMF and forthcoming National Law Enforcement Museum.
Now living in Syracuse, where she grew up, Berenice remains true to her passion of connecting underserved communities to key entrepreneurial, professional and academic opportunities. Through The Bérica Agency, she helped to launch Hispanic Syracuse and consulted for the 2015 WISE Latina Conference for business owners and entrepreneurs. She also supports events and communications for the Latino Professional Network of Syracuse and Nosotros Radio, Inc. and consults for UMEA (Upstate Minority Economic Alliance) and UP Start at CenterState CEO.
Through networking, presentations and information sharing, WNET provides professional development and personal growth for women in business.
The cost for each seminar is $15. Each seminar includes a light breakfast.
