"Financial Savvy for Women Business Owners" to be Presented at February WNET Meeting
In the past ten years, the number of women owned businesses has increased by 44%. Yet, women face unique financial challenges. They have longer life expectancies than men. They often take time off from careers to raise families or to care for parents during chronic illness. Rob Rolfe of Harmony Financial Services will address these particular issues and discuss how specific financial plans can be created to overcome them at the next Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training's (WNET) monthly breakfast meeting, Thursday, February 6th, 8 a.m. at the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center in the Oswego County Industrial Park, Phoenix (exit 14, State Route 481).
Rob started his career as a Registered Representative at Prudential Financial Services in 1994. He was a Financial Consultant with Independent Financial Marketing Group at Skaneateles Savings Bank (SSB) from 1997-1999. After SSB merged with BSB Bank & Trust, Rob served as a Senior Financial Consultant. In 2000, he joined Pathfinder Investment Services as an Investment Executive. He remained with Pathfinder Investment Services until 2013, at which time he formed Harmony Financial Services.
Through networking, presentations and information sharing, WNET provides professional development and personal growth for women business owners.
The cost for each seminar is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. The WNET annual (Sept. 2012-Aug.2013) membership cost is $25. Each seminar includes a light breakfast.
WNET is supported locally by Operation Oswego County, SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center, NBT Bank, BeautiControl, By Detail and The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
