to NEDA Board
Operation Oswego County Executive Director
L. Michael Treadwell, CEcD, was re-elected to another two-year term
on the board of directors of the Northeastern Economic Developers
Association (NEDA) at the organization's annual meeting.
NEDA was formed in 1956 to promote economic
and industrial development in the northeastern region of the United
States including Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine,
Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania,
Rhode Island and Vermont. Its members represent a wide variety of
disciplines including economic development, banking, real-estate
brokerage, law, engineering and environmental consulting. The organization
provides members with relevant information on current issues of
concern and importance that lead to the promotion of investment
and the creation of employment opportunities.
The organization conducts educational courses
and seminars on topics of interest to its membership. The organization
also monitors federal legislation.
In addition to Treadwell, Brian Anderson
of National Grid and Robert Camoin, CEcD of Camoin Associates were
also elected to the board to represent New York State.
