Business Park Launches New Website
FULTON, NY--Riverview Business
Park, in cooperation with Operation Oswego County, has launched
it new web site, www.rbp-cny.com,
to promote its business development opportunities world wide, it
was announced by Eric Will II, co-owner.
“In addition to having Northeast Biofuels—the
largest ethanol plant in the Northeast—as our neighbor, our
new web site concisely shows all the attractive assets “and
economic benefits that Riverview offers.
“Located in an Empire Zone with inherent
tax benefits, Riverview hosts a 695,000 sq. ft. warehouse and a
100,000 sq. ft. annex located on 329 total acres with the convenience
of truck, rail, water and air access right here.
“Among our utility assets are a 115
kilovolt substation, a high pressure 300 pounds per square inch
natural gas line, 24-inch water service, and a waste treatment plant
with a capacity for up to 10,000, 000 gallons per day.”
The site also features a page on logistics
that shows Riverview’s close proximity with easy connections
to major cites in Canada and the Northeast, Will said. “It’s
bordered by interstate highway, serviced by CSX rail, and within
20 miles of an international airport. Riccelli Trucking, a large
regional trucking firm shipping and receiving terminal is located
right next door.
“In addition, the Oswego River borders
the park, which is only 11 miles from the Port of Oswego, the first
Great Lakes port off the Atlantic with access to the St. Lawrence
Seaway.”
One of the most provocative sections of the
site, Will said, is the “Green” Uses page. “A
recent study of the park’s assets by O’Brien & Gere
Engineers in Syracuse led to a variety of potential uses for the
waste water treatment plant, powerhouse and warehouse that focused
on renewable, sustainable, eco-industrial processes. Among the possible
adaptations were Green power conversion, geothermal energy, solar
panels, and a wind farm. The entire study, which features property
history, development scenarios and color diagrams, is available
for download on that page.
“The site was designed and built by
Chirello Advertising, a local marketing/public relations firm in
Fulton, who also developed our graphic identity that is now prominently
featured in all of our promotional efforts.”
