On Thursday, Sept. 7, the Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training (WNET) will offer entrepreneurs an opportunity to brainstorm issues and ideas related to owning a small business.

The meeting will be held at 8 a.m. at the SUNY Oswego Institute for Professional and Organizational Development in the Oswego County Industrial Park, Phoenix (exit 14, state Route 481). Aunt Mary’s Italian Cookies and Catering will provide breakfast.

Specific brainstorming topics will include:

  • What challenges do you face as a small business owner?

  • How do you keep organized?

  • How do you balance family with running a business?

  • What are some ideas for networking?

  • How do you define good and bad customer service?

  • How do you communicate your vision for the business to your employees?

  • What are some creative ideas for marketing your business?

The meeting is open to the public. A registration fee of $10 for members and $12 for non-members covers the cost of the program and a full breakfast. WNET annual membership is $10 and will be due at this meeting. Contact Operation Oswego County at 343-1545 to reserve your seat.

The remainder of WNET’s fall schedule is as follows:
