Jan. 4, 2005: Job and Career Fair
to be Held Jan. 12
FULTON, NY— Oswego
County residents looking for a new job, education to begin a new
career or training to start a small business may find the help they
need at the third annual Oswego County Job and Career Fair, Wednesday,
Jan. 12, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Polish Home on state Route 48
in Fulton. The event is sponsored by Operation Oswego County (OOC),
Area Jobs Guide.com and Career Connection. Admission is free.
“As Oswego County’s designated
economic development agency, part of our mission is to foster the
creation and retention of job opportunities. We’re proud to
once again sponsor this event which offers those people looking
for a job or career change an opportunity to network with potential
employers, seek retraining and career advice, and learn about educational
opportunities, all under one roof,” said L. Michael Treadwell,
CEcD, executive director of OOC.
In addition to OOC, companies and agencies
represented at the fair include A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Cardinal
Health, Career Connections, Cayuga Community College, New York State
Department of Labor, ITT Technical Institute, Movie Gallery, the
United States Army National Guard and the United States Navy Recruiters.
