Jan. 4, 2005: Lowe’s to Sponsor
“Circle of Friends” Program
OSWEGO, NY—In an effort
to promote a healthy community through exercise, Lowe’s home
improvement store on state Route 104 East in Oswego will open its
doors to the public for its “Circle of Friends” exercise
program beginning Jan. 10 and running through April.
“Circle of Friends” membership
is free and available for anyone 18 and older. Members of the program
will have access to walk the perimeter track of the 133,600 square-foot
store Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
There is no purchase requirement for joining
the program.
“We understand the important health
benefits of exercise and we feel that a business our size should
step up and help facilitate something positive for our community
like this,” said Rufus Johnson, Lowe’s store manager.
“Circle of Friends” members will
receive 10% off one Lowe’s purchase per month.
For more information, call Lowe’s at
