“Exporting Goods to Mexico” is

The seminars are designed to help local businesses
in Oswego, Jefferson and Cayuga counties initiate or increase trade
with Mexico and will feature Robert Trachtenberg of ExportNY, a
program designed to help companies grow in the global marketplace.
Trachtenberg will discuss the reasons companies should export, ways
in which ExportNY can assist, marketing-related topics and government
programs available.
Also featured will be a question and answer
forum with businesses already exporting to Mexico.
The seminar schedule is as follows:
- Jefferson County--
Monday, Nov. 1, 8:30 a.m. to noon, Ramada Inn Renaissance, room
B, 600 Arsenal Street in Watertown;
- Oswego County--
Friday, Nov. 5, 8:30 a.m. to noon, The Captain's Steak and Seafood

of exporting including which sectors are most conducive to export,
what assistance is available through government agencies, information
about ExportNY and more information about the safeguards in place
to insure payment for goods,” said Nancy Bellow, director
of SUNY Oswego’s Center for Business and Community Development
