Jan. 6, 2004: Job and Career Fair
to be Held Jan. 14
FULTON, NY— Oswego
County residents looking for a new job, education to begin a new
career or training to start a small business may find the help they
need at the Oswego County Job and Career Fair, Wednesday, Jan. 14,
11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Polish Home on state Route 48 in Fulton.
The event is sponsored by Operation Oswego County (OOC), Area Jobs
Guide.com, and Career Connection. Admission is free.
"Last year’s Oswego County Job
and Career Fair was a tremendous success,” said L. Michael
Treadwell, CEcD, executive director of OOC. “We’re proud
to once again sponsor this event which offers those people looking
for a job or career change an opportunity to network with potential
employers, seek retraining and career advice, and learn about educational
opportunities, all under one roof.”
In addition to OOC, companies and agencies
represented at the fair include A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Carpenter’s
Union Local 747, Career Connections, Cayuga Community College, Central
Square Driving Academy, New York State Department of Labor, Footstar,
Hills Heating and Air Conditioning, ITT Technical Institute, Movie
Gallery, Oswego Hospital, Par-K Automotive, the United States Army
National Guard and the United States Navy Recruiters.
